Department of Pharma Chemistry
The Department of Pharmaceutical chemistry is one of the four academic units in the College of Pharmacy. Its teaching mission include instruction in Pharmaceutical Chemistry to the students of post graduate (M.Pharm) programs and undergraduate (B.Pharm and Pharm .D), besides supporting research scholars to the award of their Ph.D. degree.
The Department's research enterprise is diverse, with both basic science and clinical interests in medicinal chemistry, natural products, drug discovery, structural biology, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, computational chemistry, target bioassays, chemical toxicology, and others.
